ロット詳細

Vying with the 1843-D and 1845-D as the most readily obtainable Dahlonega Mint half eagle from the 1840s, the 1844-D is still scarce in an absolute sense. With AU examples elusive and Mint State coins very rare, a PCGS-certified Choice EF such as this is the best that most collectors can hope to obtain in an 1844-D $5.
