Noyes Die State A/B. A generally autumn-orange brown example with warmer tan-olive tinting at right obverse and wisps of faded pinkish-rose mint color discernible as the surfaces dip into lighting. Hard and smooth, both sides remain free from all but a few minor, well scattered marks that require magnification to discern. A swirl of steely-copper patina at and before Liberty's cheek is noted. There is a touch of softness to the high points of the portrait, not uncommonly so for the type, with the balance of the features sharply rendered. Graded EAC AU50 by the Heritage cataloger in March 2018.
