1895-S Barber Dime. MS-65 (NGC). Fully struck with a smooth satin texture, both sides are splashed with vivid toning that is bolder and more extensive on the obverse. The reference Collecting & Investing Strategies for Barber Dimesby Jeff Ambio establishes the 1895-S as the rarest San Francisco Mint Barber dime in MS-65 and higher grades. This issue is also the second rarest Barber dime from any mint in the finest Mint State grades, trailing only the 1894-O in this regard.
