ロット詳細

1844-C Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. Winter-1, the only known dies. AU-55 (PCGS). CAC. Struck in attractive reddish-gold. The obverse retains a significant amount of original luster, less so on the reverse. There is light striking of details, consistent with others of this date and mint. A scarce issue in all grades and a desirable near-Mint example. Provenance: From the Augustana Collection. PCGS# 7735. NGC ID: 25GU. To view all items from the Augustana Collection, click here.
