1908 Barber Dime. Proof-66 * (NGC). CAC. An extraordinary example of this Proof issue with brilliant centers and swaths of teal and bronze iridescence at the borders. The design elements are nicely frosted and contrast the watery fields with an intensity that approaches a Cameo designation. One of just 545 pieces struck. This is the only example to receive a * designation for superior eye appeal within this category at NGC. Provenance: From the Paradise Collection. Earlier ex Heritage's sale of June 2015, lot 25077. NGC Census: 29; 21 finer. PCGS# 4892. NGC ID: 23GN. Click here for certification details from NGC.
