로트 설명

A truly memorable example of this World War II era quarter issue from the Philadelphia Mint. Outstanding surfaces are frosty in finish with a silky smooth appearance that challenges numismatic perfection. The overall appearance is one of silver-white brilliance, but the persistent viewer will be able to discern halos of soft tan-gold iridescence at the borders. With a full strike and stunning eye appeal, this awe-inspiring Ultra Gem belongs in the absolute finest Washington quarter collection on the PCGS Set Registry. For while the firm reports three grading events for the 1942 in MS-68, only one of those coins - that offered here - has met with strict CAC approval.
