ロット詳細

Glorious cabinet toning takes the form of blended reddish-russet, cobalt blue and salmon-pink iridescence on the obverse. The reverse - equally attractive - sports steel-blue peripheral color that passes through sandy-mauve before yielding to soft pearl-gray in the center. Fully struck with an intense mint finish and impressive preservation. A beautiful survivor from this 832-piece Proof issue, and made even more desirable by the low circulation strike mintage of the 1888 Liberty Seated quarter.
