Breen Die State II. There is some nice gloss to both sides of this pleasingly original example. Both sides show both olive-brown toning and faded golden-orange mint color, the latter boldest where the fields approach and hug the design elements. The lower obverse border is into or close to the bottoms of the date digits, but overall detail is bold on both sides. A few marks in the left obverse field off the ribbon ends and a few tiny edge nicks between 4:30 and 8 o'clock on that side are the only singularly mentionable blemishes. An EAC grade of F12 keeps this coin out of Condition Census for the variety, but it remains a pleasing PCGS-certified EF for both the type and Sheldon number.
