(t) CHINA. Szechuan. 10 Cash, ND (1903-05). PCGS EF-40 Brown Gold Shield. CL-SC.15; CCC-380; KM-Y-231; Duan-1825. RAREvariety with no ring around the dragon. Distinctly nicer than the one we sold in March 2019 (SBP HK, lot 60372), which was only Very Fine. A wholesome and evenly worn coin with dark brown to brick red fields that contrast nicely with the lighter toned raised devices. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.
