BB Die State I, Salyards Die State I. An exceptionally wholesome piece that presents far more originality than typically seen in lightly circulated early dollars irrespective of type. This Draped Bust, Small Eagle example is toned in warm olive-gray with intermingled gold and powder blue iridescence, the latter colors best appreciated with the aid of direct lighting. Much bright, frosty luster remains, as does plenty of bold strike detail. This is a highly desirable Choice EF type candidate, and also an above average survivor from the BB-66 dies.
