- 1874 Three-Dollar Gold Piece. MS-61 (PCGS). OGH--First Generation. This vivid orange-gold example is lustrous with an uncommonly smooth appearance in hand for the assigned grade. While the 1874 is among the more readily obtainable issues in its series, no three-dollar gold piece is common in an absolute sense. Attractive for BU type purposes. PCGS# 7998. NGC ID: 25MX.
