The 1864 is a scarce, key date silver three-cent issue with just 12,000 circulation strikes produced. It is represented here by a lovely light pearl gray example that readily reveals frosty mint luster as the surfaces dip into a light. The strike is sharp with bold clash marks (as made) in the obverse field.
