Lot Description

A brilliant, intensely lustrous, satin-textured example that delivers outstanding quality for the issue. Both sides are fully struck and expertly preserved. Quarter production at the Denver Mint in 1934 amounted to 3,527,200 coins, a smaller total by Washington quarter standards that confirms the key date status of this issue in all but the lowest circulated grades. As a solidly graded and aesthetically pleasing Superb Gem the offered example is exceedingly rare from a condition standpoint. Sure to sell for a strong premium to an advanced Washington quarter Registry collector.
