From the regular-issue obverse die of the date, the reverse similar but without the upright ribbing in the III denomination. Chestnut brown with chocolate and golden brown highlights. <em>Among the finest certified examples of the variety within any color designation. </em>Fewer than a half dozen examples of this variety are known in copper as offered here.
