Lot Description

Lightly circulated with overall bold detail remaining to both sides. The surfaces show considerable frosty luster, as well as iridescent pinkish-rose highlights to dominant honey-olive color. A few faint grazes in the left obverse field are noted for accuracy, but this remains a numismatically desirable example of a scarce and challenging Philadelphia Mint three-dollar gold issue.
