CHINA. 10 Yuan, 1984. Panda Series. NGC PROOF-68 Ultra Cameo. KM-87; PAN-19A. Mintage: 10,000. An enticing and wholesome specimen, the present example of the early 10 Yuan displays much brilliant reflectivity in the fields and some handsome frosting on the devices, alighting the surfaces into a dizzying display of cameo contrast. A few spots make the grade, but as a whole, the present specimen has very little to take issue with, and stands as a tremendous opportunity for the specialist in Panda series coinage.
