- 1800 Capped Bust Right Half Eagle. BD-4. Rarity-4. AU-53 (PCGS). A well balanced piece that offers both overall sharp striking detail and a warm blend of olive-gold and orange-gold patina. A bit scuffy overall, yet free of sizeable or otherwise individually distracting abrasions. Given the scarcity of pre-1834 U.S. half eagles as a group, this lightly circulated 1800 Capped Bust Right is sure to elicit strong bids from advanced gold type collectors.
