로트 설명

B-1. Representing the final installment of the capped bust composition for quarter-dollars, this 1838 may have been struck off of fairly new dies, because the motifs display notably refined detail, and the fields offer slight reflectivity. Minor grey discoloration on some of the high points, such as the top of the cap and the end of Liberty's bust, indicate cabinet friction, but even close examination reveals no trace of circulation wear.
