(Bangkok, Thailand) -- Representatives of Professional Coin Grading Service (http://www.PCGSasia.com), the world's leader in the authentication and grading of vintage and modern coins, will meet in Bangkok with members of the Numismatic Association of Thailand (NAT) on 29 and 30 November 2014. The NAT meetings coincide with the largest rare coin auction ever held in Thailand.
PCGS officials will make a special presentation about PCGS products and services.

The meetings will be held at the Narai hotel in Bangkok from 2 pm to 5 pm, and the PCGS presentation will begin at 4 pm.
"The Thai numismatic market is historically important for both vintage and modern coins. I look forward to finally meeting Thai collectors and dealers and to answer questions about PCGS grading standards. Mr. Kriengkrai Hirunpunthip, President of the Numismatic Association of Thailand, said the PCGS presentation will provide answers to collectors who have questions about coin grading and PCGS grading standards. "We believe collectors will become more interested in collecting 'slabbed' (certified) coins in the future," he predicted.
Eur-Seree Collecting Co. Ltd. will conduct the largest coin auction ever held in Thailand on Saturday and Sunday, November 29 and 30. The auction also will be held at the Narai Hotel, 222 Silom Road, Bangrak, Bangkok.
Among the coins to be offered are a Thailand 1983 "International Year of Disabled Persons" gold 2,500 Baht (Y#170) graded PCGS MS68 and an extremely rare Myanmar-Burma 1852 silver coin similar in type to KM#9 with a peacock on the obverse and a flowers design on the reverse with "5 Mu" engraved on it.
