Enthralling and Colorful High Five-Pointed Stars "Memento" Dollar CHINA. Dollar, ND (1912). PCGS MS-64. L&M-48; K-600; KM-Y-318; WS-0158. High five-pointed stars variety. One of the more captivating and entrancing examples of this RARE type that one is likely to encounter, the present specimen yields a very vibrant color palette dominated by intense iridescence along with flashy brilliance as one cradles it back and forth. Compare to a similar piece (also a PCGS MS-64, though blast white and lacking the character offered here) in our October 2021 Hong Kong auction (lot # 21210), which realized a total of $44,400.
